SHOW US YOUR LIFE - Wedding Dress
Today in Kelly's Korner, we're showing our wedding dresses!
When I first got engaged, 5 years ago, I was so excited to go dress shopping! I tried on about 20-30 dresses. I did not like any of them. The last store we went to, I tried on several dresses, but none stuck out to me, like the one I bought did. I wanted a "fairy tale" dress, I wanted to be a princess for a day. :) My dress had capped sleeves and short train. I knew I'd be getting married outside, and a long train would get ruined. The bottom of the dress was scalloped. Lot of details in the dress that I just loved! Now it's just hanging in my closet. I want to try it on again, but after the baby, I'm afraid it won't fit.. :)
I love all the details!
One of the reasons I fell in love with this dress was b/c of the capped sleeves.
My dad walks me down the aisle. My dress was pretty big and hard to get up steps. :)
There's my prince! I'm not sure if you can see, but at the bottom of the dress, it's all scalloped. I loved it!

I wish I could wear my dress again! :) It was great to be a princess for a day! I can't believe it's been almost 4 years.

7 Things Award from olivestreetstudio
I got a 7 things award from olivestreetstudio...I give 7 things about myself and then pass along to 7 others. Here goes -
1. I have a slight obsession with Mustangs. I just love the car. Especially the '69. Anytime a mustang drives by, I can spot it from a mile away. :)
2. I was a school teacher for 4 years until I had my daughter. Then I became a stay at home mom and love every minute of it.
3. My husband is the only man I've ever dated. We were both 21 when we started dating. It's been amazing and he is my prince charming!
4. I love to clean, yes clean! My cleaning day is on Mondays, and I look forward to it every weekend. :) The other days of the week, I relax and do little things around the house that needs to be done.
5. Before I got to sleep every night I HAVE to check underneath my pillow. I need to make sure there are no bugs there. You see, about 6 years ago, there was a cricket under my pillow and it has disturbed me ever since! :) My husband picks on me every night.
6. I LOVE coffee! Been drinking it since I was about 5 years old. It is absolutely the best drink ever created. I wish I could have Starbucks every day, but I'll settle for pretty much any coffee. :)
7. I was 25-26 years old the first time I watched all of the Star Wars movies. Nope I didn't like them. But I watched it b/c it's one of my hubby's favorites... The things that you do. lol

Children's party
So I have not yet had the privilege of planning a party, but I am in the process of planning my daughter's first birthday party. It's still 4 months away, but I know I want a princess theme of sorts. Here's a few things I've found online that I love!
