Show Us Your Life - What do you feed your kids?????

Kelly, from Kelly's Korner is doing Show us Your Life, what do you feed your kids?
I am so glad that I can read what other mom's are doing b/c feeding my 2 year old is difficult, she is very picky. We have very little variety going. I feel like she always eats the same things.
BREAKFAST:
grits
french toast
muffins
scrambled eggs w/ cheese

LUNCH:
mac -n- cheese
grilled cheese sandwich
Peanut butter and jelly

DINNER:
usually she eats MOST of what I make, but NO meat. I usually try to cook stuff that I know she'll like. If I want her to eat meat and veggies, I'll hide it in a casserole dish like chicken pot pie or shepherds pie...Some things she loves:
rice/beans
pizza
cheeseburger
casserole dishes

In addition to those meals I'll add a fruit, which she only eats bananas, mandarin orange, and grapes. She also eats yogurt and applesauce.

I think our worst meal is lunch, I never know what to feed her. She won't even eat chicken nuggets. Any suggestions? :)

  1. My son loves mandarin oranges! I swear he would eat the entire can at one time if I let him. He eats them first and then his other selections. ;0

  3. Lots of suggestions you might enjoy! ( I saw your link on kelly's korner ) I have a feeding blog and love to post tips and ideas along with general pediatric feeding topics (i'm a feeding therapist) You can take the list you already made above and start creating ways to expand on it...small, subtle changes. Here are some examples on this post
