Ballerinas

 One of my favorite bows to make are the sculpted ones.  I LOVE these ballerinas b/c they are super girly!  Here is a small assembly line.  :)

All done!  I use grosgrain ribbon for everything, except their skirt, that's organza!  I think it's super cute!

Me and my girls! :) 

This picture was taken last week for big sis first day of choir at church.  I had recently gotten her that guitar shirt and thought it was perfect for her first day of choir.  I'm so thankful for our church and all the fun things they do for the kids.  

Pool babies

This weekend we went to nearby town to meet some friends and spend the day at the pool.  It was our first pool day of the summer, and baby sister's first time in the pool.  She LOVED the water!  Thankfully they had a kiddie pool, so both girls were able to crawl around and splash and they loved it!

Mommy was so concerned about keeping my girls lathered up w/ sunblock, and daddy (they all burn easily) that I never bothered to spray myself.  Needless to say, I got terrible sunburn, I want to cry anytime I move my shoulders...

Made to Match

Before bed daddy always reads the Bible and a book of big sis' choosing.  Now baby sis gets to take part in it too.  Isn't it so sweet!?

another Mother's day post

For mother's day we gave both our mom's this flag, made of the kids finger prints and foot prints.  This one was my mom's, made by my 2 girls and my 2 nephews.   Both mom's loved it! 

 My first Mother's day with this sweet one.  I never knew how much love I could have for my 2 girls.  They make my life happy.

 Another one of us :)  I got a few of these w/ a timer.  Big sis wouldn't cooperate :(

 My oldest nephew is 5, every year his school puts together a Mother's Day tea and every woman in the family is invited.  So we get to go and it's so sweet!  Here is big sis, she loves tea parties. :)

Today big sis threw a party.  She set up "decorations" and cakes and cookies and said she was throwing a birthday party for everyone.  Then she called me to her play room to celebrate.  It was precious!  So little sis and I joined her.  She then got her guitar b/c she needed to sing Happy Birthday. lol

I LOVE my girls!  We live in a sea of pink, a world of hairbows, frilly dresses, dolls, tea parties and more.  And I LOVE it all! :)

This morning when I went to get the girls from their room, I found big sis in bed w/ baby sis. :)

My weekend

We spent all weekend celebrating Mother's day. On Friday we went out with my family and had dinner. It was nice to go out... On Saturday I cooked and baked for my mother in law and we had her over along w/ hubby's sister and her family. I didnt' get any pictures of that though... Then on Sunday, we had church, naps, hubby cleaned the kitchen while I napped.  Then we went to dinner and a walk on the beach.  Such a great and simple day. :)  It was a nice weekend!

Mother's Day!

As I sit here reflecting on Mother's day, I am thinking about my first official mother's day as a mom, 3 years ago. I am so thankful that God blessed me with the gift of motherhood. I LOVE being a mom, love my girls. I look at them an am overcome with a combination of emotions. They bring me so much joy! The day I became a mom Nov 2008. I love this little girl!

My first mother's day in 2009. Big sis was 6 months old.

My 2nd mother's day in 2010. She was 18 months old. What a cutie!

My 3rd Mother's day, last year. Big sis was 2 1/2 and I was 7 months pregnant with baby sis.

Me and my 2 princesses last month. So thankful for them both. I LOVE them so much!!!

Life is good...

Last week hubby passed an exam for his job and we went out to celebrate. We ate out at a restaurant by the river, it was beautiful! Hubby snapped this picture of me and my girls, I smile everytime I look at it. I LOVE my babies, love holding them both in my arms and showering them with kisses.

Aren't they so cute!? They light up my life, I know it's crazy, as I write this they are sleeping, and I miss them like crazy!!! lol
