Favorites

I wanted to show everyone some pictures of my favorite bows! It's hard to pick which one I like best. Everytime I sit down to make a bow, I try to create something unique, something you don't see everywhere. I try to create a bow I know I would be proud to put on my daughter. If I don't like it on her, I don't sell it. She is my model and my muse. :) Which one is your favorite?

Show Us Where You Live Friday - BATHROOMS

Today in Kelly's blog is a tour of the bathrooms... I wanted to show my small bathroom. Keep in mind, my house was built in 1933 (one of the reasons we fell in love with it) so it only has one bathroom (kinda a bummer). But my hubby and I share well! :) When we came to look at the house the first time, I fell in love with this bathroom. My favorite color is black, and I love black and white together. So, it's like this bathroom was made for me! And I love the "old" look. Well, it is old, and I love it!!!

The beautiful painting was done by my wonderful hubby. My favorite flowers are white tulips, and knowing that I love black and white, he did this wonderful painting for me back when we were engaged as a gift. Isn't he the best?!

One of my hubby's cousins just had a baby girl. I bought her a beautiful dress and of course, I had to make her a matching bow. What do you think?! It's my latest creation!

Today I went to CVS to make a few purchases... My friend is teaching me how to save and earn extra bucks. So I bought a few toiletries that I needed and spent $8.63, guess how much I saved?!?! I saved a total of $16.31!!!! Yikes! On top of sales at CVS, I had coupons, plus I got to use the extra bucks towards my purchases. I also came home with $2 extra buck for the next time I go to CVS. I love shopping now and saving money!!!! :)

Accessories

clipping coupons

I have never been one to clip coupons, it takes too long. But when a friend told me that she was saving up to 50% shopping at Publix and getting free toothpaste at CVS, I had to have a chat with her. She showed me this great blog where a mom takes the time to list all the BOGO sales at publix, and then lists which coupons we can use on top of that and how much money we'll end up saving. I am all for that! So, I've started collecting the Sunday paper and clipping coupons. I went to Publix and saved 50%!!! I was so happy! In this economy, we gotta do what we can to save money. I am very excited to see how much I'll save at the end of the month.
